We are seeking an organized, self-motivated, and energetic R&D Manager to join our fast growing logistics organization. In your position, you will play a key role in the startup and growing success of our company. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a growth mindset are a must for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Gap analysis and high level business case design
In depth business case development for internal and external solutions investments
Lead client engagement implementation when required
Industry and market research analysis
Partnership and collaboration with an offshore software development team
Lead, manage and hold accountable direct reports ensuring proper development on leadership ladder level
Internal and external tools and asset research and development
Lead enhancement of transportation management systems
Understanding of systems integration and open source API connections
Current state and future state documentation
Commitment and connection to our company values
5+ years of progressive consulting experience
Previous people or team team leadership experience strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, accounting, finance, data analytics, software/computer engineering, or similar required; MBA preferred
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience on 3 or more projects in or related to supply chain, logistics, or transportation implementations in the last 2 years
Understanding of or familiarity with multiple variants of TMS and ERP softwares (NetSuite preferred)
Working experience with Power BI, Excel, Microsoft Teams, as well as G-Suite applications
Willingness to travel up to 50%
